My Favorite Analogue Photography Podcasts
When I started to be excited by a topic I love to find good podcast to learn more about it. There is always someone passionate about this topic who is willing to share high quality content with us.
One thing that I really like about podcast is that we can listen to them everywhere and they don’t require our full attention. I often listen to podcast when I cook, when I walk in the street, ride my bike or fall asleep.
The candid Frame
It’s the most inspirational podcast of all the ones listed on this page. Ibarionex interviews great photographers and asks them deep questions about their work, thought processes, goals, etc. They never talk about technique or business, just about why they are doing photography and how.
Bonus: Ibarionex has a unique deep voice. Listening to him is highly relaxing.
Analog Talk
Negative Positives Film Photography Podcast
Studio C-41
It’s a fun podcast about analogue photography. It discusses the news in the field, new films coming out or discontinued, new products on the market and sometimes higher-level topics about creativity or being a photographer. It’s a simple way to stay up to date on film photography’s very slow news cycle, and it’s entertaining.
