Back to the Dolomites

Two years later, we returned to the majestic Dolomites! Our original plan was to come back to Tirol, but the end of July brought nonstop rain throughout Europe - from the South of Germany to Slovenia, and everywhere in between. Northern Italy was the only refuge from the unrelenting downpour, so we quickly packed up our trusty van and headed south. The Dolomites did not disappoint! We embarked on four wonderful hikes before the unwelcoming weather forced us to retreat. Each adventure brought new challenges and rewards - roaming through lush forests, pausing to admire pristine lakes, and encountering incredible animals, from domesticated pets to slithering snakes! With every step further from the crowds, the scenery became even more spectacular. No words or photos can truly capture the Dolomites' beauty. Italy, until we meet again!
