    First Hammock Night in Erkner

Eager to try something different during my camping trip, I decided to give sleeping in a hammock a shot. The idea of not having to lie on the hard ground and being able to set up camp more easily appealed to me. All I needed were two trees spaced apart by 4 to 6 meters. After enjoying a peaceful day hike surrounded by nature's melodies, I set up my hammock. However, it turned out to be more challenging than I expected, and my first attempt wasn't the most comfortable. To add to my troubles, the night was colder than anticipated, and my sleeping bag wasn't warm enough for the 6-degree Celsius temperatures. Nevertheless, despite these hiccups, I still enjoyed the experience and can't wait to give it another go with better gear next time!
