For the first time, I escaped Berlin's grey winter by travelling to Tenerife for an entire month. It's incredible to live in January in a place where every day is bright, over twenty degrees, and you never need to check the weather forecast because it's always good. The island is beautiful, with both sea and mountains right next to each other—something I've never experienced before. I love having both options and enjoy not having to choose between them. There's nothing better than swimming in a secluded beach during a hike.

I returned fully revitalised from this trip and plan on making it a habit to travel to a sunny place during that period. Here are some raw photos from the city, our hikes, and my friend Yael's visit.
